Fire-Rescue coordinates training schedule with neighboring departments

NH LEMPSTER — Lempster Fire-Rescue approves prior meeting minutes, launches recruitment drive and schedules spring training. Chief J. Thomas led the department's February 4 meeting, which identified training opportunities at Canaan Fire (ice rescue technology class February 28 through March 1) and Washington Fire (Sim Lab on strokes March 18).
The department assigned staff to develop a driver and operator list and scheduled an informational meeting with officers regarding Comstar ambulance services and billing. Chief Thomas met with Firematic regarding water and technical rescue equipment to be acquired through the Fire Equipment Capital Improvement Program, and the department is investigating an operational constraint with the ladder truck and pump, which cannot operate simultaneously.
